What should I expect from my first yoga class?
You should expect to have fun, learn, stretch, build strength, and sweat!
Do I need to register before attending a class?
To assure your space in a class please pre-register. Your instructor can sign you into the class in person if space is available.
What should I wear to class?
Wear clothes that are comfortable, flexible, and breathable. Not jeans or shorts, but leggings or similar.
What Should I Bring?
You will need a mat. You can bring your own, rent or purchase one from us. You should bring water. If you forget bottles of water can be purchased from us. Some students like to have a hand towel handy. You can bring your own or purchase one from us.
Should I eat before coming to class?
Most folks are more comfortable if they avoid having more than a light snack within two hours class.
Arrive at least 10 minutes before the class starts
Allow additional time if it is your first class
Turn off all electronic devices
This means anything that rings, dings or buzzes
Do not wear perfume to class
It can bother other students
Advise instructor of any injuries or health issues
I can suggest alternatives moves for you if required
Avoid eating 1 hour before class
A heavy meal can make you feel uncomfortable
Remove your shoes
There are shoe cubbies in the studio entrance room
