Creative Soul Vinyasa Flow

Creative Soul Vinyasa Flow is as Vinyasa to neo soul, R&B old and new, and Indi artists. The Yoga flow is designed to make the body feel good as we strengthen the core building alignment and balance. Be prepared to dance, laugh, and connecting with self and your fellow Yogis.

Restorative Yoga

Prepare yourself for deep relaxation as we move consciously through a series of supine and seated poses employing various props (blocks, blankets, bolsters and straps) that will provide support and allow you to move further into your body and mind. As the sun sets we will work to turn down our sympathetic “fight or flight” responses and tune into our parasympathetic “rest-and-digest” systems so that you leave class feeling open, relaxed and ready to ease into your evening. Clients will also be invited to practice gentile breath and mantra work. Consider this your glass of wine before bed. Wine not included 😉

Sun Salutation Yoga

This is one for the early birds! We will greet the sun as it rises with an energetic, but gentile morning flow. Class will begin slowly with pace gradually increasing until a peak is reached and will be punctuated with a short meditation that will allow students to move forward into their day feeling balanced and energized. This class is well suited for those familiar with basic (level 1) poses, as continual motion and fluid sequencing will be emphasized. Modifications for poses can be given based on the needs of each client.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Our Vinyasa class takes a somewhat slower pace than the standard power approach found at many studios, in order to prevent injuries, and allow students to more fully explore the poses, which also aids in developing strength. Enjoy slowing down, moving mindfully, and breathing deeply.  This class is suitable for beginner with little or no Yoga experience as well as for more experienced practitioners.

Yin/Yang Yoga Flow (75 minutes)

This class blends the best of both yoga worlds… stillness (yin) and movement (yang). Open to all levels, you will explore the healing benefits of yin yoga, holding poses for 2-5 minutes followed by an active, vinyasa flow inspired sequence. We end the class with more cooling postures before a nice long final resting position. Come explore and find your edge in this new practice!
